Bats blank Bisons
The Bisons dropped their second straight game at the hands of the Louisville Bats 11-0 on Tuesday night.
The offensive explosion over the last week continued for the Bats, collecting 16 hits.
Jean Luc Blaquiere starred in his Triple-A debut for Buffalo. He went 2-4, with two doubles and behind the plate threw out the Bat’s leading stealer Chris Burke in the third inning.
Bisons starter Bobby Livingston gave up six runs (four earned) over just four innings. Livingston fell to 1-4 on the year.
The Bats buried the Bisons with two big scoring innings, plating five in the fourth and three more in the sixth in route to the victory.
With a single in the fifth inning, Jason Pridie extended his hitting streak to seven games. D.J. Wabick and Tony Maccani both made their Bisons debuts and both were 0-1. The Bisons have combined to go just 12-65 (.185) with runners in scoring position over the first six games of the road trip.
