Leavin' Lehigh Valley, win in hand

Corey Sullivan took the first offering he saw over the wall and Mike Lamb added a three-run double as the Bisons defeated the IronPigs, 6-4, on a morning start from Lehigh Valley on Thursday. Jon Switzer (pictured) and the Buffalo bullpen preserved the win with five innings of one-hit baseball.

The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will return home to Coca-Cola Field on Friday, May 8 for an eight-game homestand as the 2009 season and promotional schedule hits full stride.
