Ben Wagner is set to begin his third season as the "Voice of the Bisons" on the Bisons Baseball Network. He will anchor all 144 Bisons games as well as pre-game and post-game coverage on the team's radio coverage or on the Herd's television package.

Ben joined the Bisons in 2007 after spending three seasons in New Jersey with the Lakewood BlueClaws, the Single-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. He served as the play-by-play voice from 2004-2006, and broadcast Lakewood's South Atlantic League Championship in 2006.

During the Bisons' off-season, Ben broadcasts local college football and basketball on Time Warner SportsNet while providing commentary for the University at Buffalo women's basketball program. In the 2006 off-season, he served as the play-by-play voice for the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore men's and women's basketball teams.

The Hoosier native began his broadcasting career in November 1997 working on-air for WAWC-FM in Syracuse, IN. There, he made his play-by-play debut for local football and basketball teams. While attending Indiana State University, Wagner worked for WISU-FM as the "Voice of Indiana State Baseball and Women's Basketball" and sports director for three years. While still in college, he began working as an analyst for ISU football games for the Sycamore Radio Network (WTWO) as well as a high school sports announcer for Crossroads Communications.

Wagner was given the Outstanding Service Award to Indiana State University Athletics in March 2003 and in September, received the G.O.L.D. Award (Graduates of the Last Decade) from the university's alumni office, which recognizes the accomplishments by Indiana State Alumni who have excelled early in their professional careers. He graduated from ISU in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Radio/TV/Film. He resides in Lancaster with his wife, Megan and dog, Sammy.
