PawSox take pair from Herd
TO SUM IT UP: The Pawtucket Red Sox swept a pair of games from Buffalo on Sunday, dropping the Herd to 1-4 on their first venture away from Western New York…Sunday afternoon started with the PawSox completing a 2-1 victory in 10 innings of the suspended game the night before. The IL-north division rival then battered the Bisons for 10 runs in a 10-6 victory in the nightcap.

FUN FACTS: Dillon Gee was promoted to the Mets to start for New York in Atlanta on Sunday. The righty allowed just one run in 5.2 innings of work to earn a 3-2 win over the Braves. The win snapped the Mets’ seven-game losing streak…Zach Lutz drove in the Bisons only run in the suspended game with a pinch-hit RBI-double in the seventh inning…The Bisons did not hit a home run during their five-game roadtrip.
