The New York Mets selected the contract of Buffalo Bisons LHP PAT MISCH.

The Bisons also announced that RHP CHRIS SCHWINDEN has been promoted to the Bisons on Saturday. He will start for the Herd TONIGHT against Pawtucket at McCoy Stadium (6:05 p.m.).

The Bisons 2010 Most Valuable Pitcher, Misch made one start for the Herd this season. The southpaw allowed five runs in seven innings in a loss to Pawtucket on April 9.

Schwinden, 24, has made two scoreless appearances out of the bullpen for the Double-A Binghamton Mets this season (3.0IP, 2H, 4K). He spent the majority of the 2010 season with the B-Mets, going 4-7 with a 5.56ERA in 17 games and 14 starts.

Schwinden was the Mets 22nd round pick in the 2008 first year players draft.
