Mets pick up Jason Pridie

The New York Mets today announced that they claimed outfielder Jason Pridie off waivers from the Minnesota Twins.

Pridie was especially tough against the Bisons, hitting .377 (23-61) with four home runs and 12RBI in 14 games against the Herd.

Pridie went to the Twins in a six-player trade headlined by outfielder Delmon Young and righthanded pitcher Matt Garza on November 28, 2007.
