Despite struggling at home this season, the Bisons left Coca-Cola Field and Herd fans on a good note; winning on a walk-off single by Luis Rivera in the bottom of the 10th inning.
Buffalo beat the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, 4-3, on Thursday afternoon on the final home game of the 2009 season.
The Bisons close out their 2009 campaign with five games in Lehigh Valley, including a doubleheader on Friday.
