G-Braves even series
The Gwinnett Braves evened up the series against Buffalo with a 9-1 win on Wednesday night. Barbaro Canizares (pictured) drove home six runs for the G-Braves in the win. Charlie Morton was fantastic on the mound over 7-innings, allowing three hits and just one run.
For the Herd, Brandon Knight punched out seven through five innings and Carlos Muniz and Connor Robetson combined to strikeout five over the final four innings. At the plate, Mike Lamb had two of the three hits.
Buffalo is back in action on Thursday afternoon at 1:05 in game three of the four game set.
