Knight's effort not enough
Brandon Knight followed Casey Fossum’s nine strikeout performance on Friday with an eight strikeout start Saturday but the Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, couldn’t capitalize, falling to the Syracuse Chiefs 5-1 Saturday afternoon.
Jason Cooper saw his first action as a Bison this season and doubled in his final trip to the plate.
