Sport the 'stache

Southpaw David Huff will get the ball tonight for the Bisons and continues to sport his mustache. Huff has been extremely tough in his last four starts, so he could start the game wearing a leisure suite, I really don’t care because he’s been incredibly efficient in the amount of time he has to work (the Indians have capped his innings at 5 per outing).

Since sprouting the ‘stache July 11, he has not allowed more than one run in each start, going 2-1 with a 0.90ERA. Overall, Huff has not allowed more than four earned runs in any of his 11 starts with the team, and has give up two or less runs in eight games.

Huff has 57 strikeouts with the Bisons and 62 more in his 11 games with Double-A Akron. His 119 total strikeouts lead all Cleveland Indians’ minor leaguers.
