TODAY’S GAME: This afternoon, the Buffalo Bisons host the Pawtucket Red Sox for the third game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (1:05 p.m.). The PawSox have won the first two games of the set by scores of 4-2 and 4-1. After tomorrow’s series finale, the Bisons will welcome in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees for a four-game series. Buffalo is 25-27 at home this season.

VS. THE RED SOX: The Bisons are winless in their last six games against Pawtucket and only 2-8 against the Red Sox this season. Five of the last six defeats have come by three runs or less. Buffalo has just 27 runs in their 10 total games against the PawSox this season.

DEALIN’ DYLAN: RHP DYLAN OWEN makes his 13th start and 18th appearance of the season today. The righty allowed just two runs on four hits in six innings of work on Tuesday in Syracuse but did not earn a decision. Owen has not given up more than four runs in a start this season and has allowed two or fewer tallies in nine of his starts. Opponents are hitting just .214 (12-56) off Owen with runners in scoring position.

Mr. VP: INF VALENTINO PASCUCCI has 16RBI in 10 games since the break. The slugger now has 66RBI on the season, tied for tops in the International League with Gwinnett’s Stefan Gartrell. Pascucci also leads the IL with 55 walks and is fourth with a .388 on-base percentage. In 160 career games as a Bison, Pascucci has 31 home runs and 103RBI.

LUIS, LUIS: INF LUIS FIGUEROA is hitting .326 (14-43) in 10 games since the All-Star break. The veteran has already hit seven doubles since the break and is now 3rd on the team with 16 doubles on the season. Figueroa joined the Bisons in mid-May but his batting average is now only two plate appearances shy of qualifying 11th best in the International League.

FOREVER ENSHRINED: Former Bisons C TONY PENA and former “Voice of the Bisons” JIM ROSENHAUS will be inducted into the Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame prior to today’s game. Pena hit .313 with 34 home runs and 97RBI for the Double-A Bisons in 1979. Rosenhaus called 1,628 Bisons games from 1996-2006, including three Buffalo championships.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (50-50) were defeated by the Marlins last night by an 8-5 score. OF LUCAS DUDA hit a pinch-hit home run and INF JOSE REYES followed for back-to-back blasts in the ninth inning. However, Florida scored all their runs between the sixth and eighth innings. The Mets take on the Marlins today at 1:10 p.m.
