ON AIR! Bisons season preview show

The first of four Buffalo Bisons’ season preview shows will air at 5 p.m. Sunday on the flagship station for Bisons Baseball, WWKB 1520.

Former Buffalo manager Terry Collins headlines the show with Kevin Burkhardt from SportsNet New York, Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News and VP/GM Mike Buczkowski all sharing thoughts during the hour.

If you missed the show, an archived version of the program will be available at http://www.bisons.com on Monday.

Lead the Herd: Tix online Thurs

Bisons.com will be holding a Special Pre-Sale of individual game tickets from Thursday, March 11 at 9am until Friday, March 12 at 10pm.

At that time, you can reserve your spot for Opening Day on April 14, the July 3 Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus or any game in 2010. Every game will be on sale, online!

The Buffalo Bisons will hold their annual Family Day Open House on Saturday, March 13 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Coca-Cola Field. This event is FREE to the general public.

Bisons Job Fair – March 6

Team looking for several seasonal employees

The Buffalo Bisons will hold their annual Job Fair on Saturday, March 6 at Pettibones Grille Restaurant inside Coca-Cola Field (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.).

The Bisons are looking for seasonal employees for the 2010 season. All applicants must apply in person.

The positions available include: Concession Stand Managers, Cashiers, Cooks, Restaurant Servers, Commissary Personnel, Porters and Game Day Grounds Crew.

Annual Family Day Open House – March 13

Individual 2010 Game Tickets On Sale at Event

The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A Affiliate of the New York Mets, will hold their annual Family Day Open House on Saturday, March 13 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Coca-Cola Field. This event is FREE to the general public.

At the event, the team will also put Individual Game Tickets On Sale for the 2010 season. It will be the first chance for fans to purchase individual game tickets for such events as Opening Day on April 14, the July 3 Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and August 7th’s Mystery Ball fundraiser.

Fans will also have the opportunity to receive a free Bisons ticket to any of the team’s games from Thursday, April 15 – Sunday, April 18 for a $5.00 donation to Western New York United Against Drug & Alcohol Abuse. The offer includes the Bisons’ first fridaynightbash! of the season: Friday, April 16 against the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Family Day Open House
Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. for Bisons Season Ticket Holders. Everyone else is welcome to join the fun starting at 12:00 p.m.
