Crazy finish at McCoy

A pitcher’s duel between Buffalo and Pawtucket unfolded Sunday afternoon with an unlikely outcome. Both teams battled scoreless through the first 10 2/3 innings until Argenis Reyes scraped the Bisons’ bullpen wall with 2-run homer.

Not to be forgotten in the loss, Dillon Gee’s 6 1/3, eight strikeouts to set the table.

Paul McAnulty started the rally with a leadoff double and the PawSox put together four straight hits to cut the lead in half, tied the game with Freddy Guzman’s RBI single and a bases loaded walk to Jonathan Van Every gave Pawtucket the 3-2 win.

Buffalo faces Pawtucket Monday at 6:05 p.m.
